I bought a felpro complete intake gasket set for my cobra intake swap. I see alot of guys using these specific part number gaskets and the gaskets with my kit werent the same? Are the ones I have okay to use? They are the right kit but I only want to do this thing once. I cant remember the part # everyone was saying they used but I know the kit I got is different.

Pretty hard to give you an answer when you haven't given us any part numbers?

usually people have machine shops port match to felpro 1262 so they flow a bit better

1262 sounds about right, I know for a fact that those didnt come in my gasket set. Are the regular felpro ones in the set fine to use? like I said I heard these part numbers through the grapevine on here thats why I dont know them.

The 1262's are the larger port gaskets and the 1250's are the standard port intake to head gaskets. What heads do you have? I used 1262's with my twisted wedge 170's and probably should have used the 1250's....no issues so far though. I am going to run the Felpro 1250-s3 next though. They're the steel core version.

The 1262 is better for a bigger head like the TFS 185 or AFR 205's.

As far as I know they are just factory E7's. Over winter Im purchasing a whole TF top end kit. So far I think I should be good with the gaskets I have I tottally forget to check the part number today, things always get crazy in the evening

Ok sorry guys for the long wait. But the part number in my gasket set is like a 95952? Ive never even heard of that on this forum. The part numbers for all the other gaskets in the set are similer and the kit does say for exploder/cobra mustang. Im nervous to use these?

Yeah those are specifically for a full GT-40 setup, like explorer and cobra with the GT-40 heads. Here's a very informative post on those gaskets: http://forums.corral.net/forums/5-0...334-vs-gt40-ms95952-comparison-lots-pics.html
