Well fellas, trying to diagnose what's going on here, I should probably just take the stang to a mechanic but maybe you guys can help me shed some light on this.

The engine has a ticking sound, or maybe what you guys refer to as knocking not sure the difference, when you rev it the ticking speeds up as well. Also, i'm not sure if the guages are correct but my oil pressure is really low. I've just recently changed out my oil. There doesn't appear to be any oil leak under the car, and according to the dip stick the oil is still at the full mark. Also, when I start the car it kicks up some white smoke, but stops immediately. The engine has about 90k on it, and was rebuilt 2-3,000 miles ago. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

If the sound is coming from the top of the engine, it's probably a hydraulic lifter/valvetrain issue. You might also want to check to make sure that you don't have any exhaust leaks.

Exhaust leak is the first thing that comes to mind for me...try taking an old paper towel tube and listening to specific parts fo the engine to see where it's coming from -- that will help diagnose.

hopefully none of your rockers are loose. Mine were once and I was driving it home and all of a sudden I heard almost like an explosion in my old motor. Ended up disintegrating a lifter or two* can't remember, bending a pushroad...all because the rockers came loose or weren't fully adjusted. Hope thats not your case...hopefully the header bolts need to be tightened
