1. For those with Autos... do your cars rev just under 2000 at 65 mph?

2. I hear a creaking sound from the back sometimes, I think it is the brakes or the suspension. Not really sure, is it normal?

3. Today after putting some seafoam in and blowing out the smoke, I broke pretty hard and I smelt some burning smell from one of my brakes, is that normal? It wasn't from inside the engine and it only smelled on one wheel?

How many miles are on the car? Noise from the rear could be a variety of things. Does it happen when you're cruising? Turning? Stopping?

One time I had to slam on the brakes bad. I left myself in a cloud of smoke and I could definitely smell the pads cooking. I even warped my rotors from that. Also, after I Seafoamed my engine it stunk for a day. I had to reset my computer because the "Check Engine" light came on and wouldn't go out until I disconnected the battery for a few minutes.

Just a little fyi...

yeah when doing 65mph the rpms are roughly below 2000............ if you braked hard then yes it is normal to get that brake pad smell, and for your noise in the rear it can be quite a few things

well that is with the stock gearing (3.27) the rpms are at around 1800 rpm's once you go with 3.73's or 4.10's then the rpms are over the 2000 rpm

For 1 I meant 3.27 gears, so I think my car has stock gears, although I do hear a little bit of whine, normal?.

I am pretty sure the rear noise is the brakes, normally only occurs when i let go of the brakes from a stop, like at a traffic light, maybe my pads need to be replaced?

My car has 60k miles on it and it has had its 60k service, and I'm pretty sure they checked the suspension in that service... cost me a **** load of money.

These sounds are all very subtle, probably because I took out the back seats...
