Few questions..

Well I already found a 5.0 explorer engine for a 96 for 650 at a junkyard.. The whole thing!!! With 108k miles and good compression.

What kind of cam should I put on it?

Do I use the same timing cover or do I have to take it of the fox?

Should I up the boost or spray a 50 shot?

Most people go with the Trick Flow Stage 1 cam and TFS spring kit for those motors.

You'll need the fox timing cover/bolts, timing pointer, water pump, egr spacer/bolts, oil pan, oil filter bung, dipstick, pulleys, hamonic balancer, coolant pipe on intake, valve covers, distributor, and front bracketry to convert an Explorer motor to Mustang. You can transfer all of that from your old fox engine, that's what I did.
