hey guys i came across 2 things the other day...1 a stock eaton blower for 03/04 cobra....2 CHE axle brace
1.. the eaton blower is for sale for 275 and i can get the tb/plenum to come with it....only thing is, the previous owner said it needs rebuilt...i asked him why and if it was the snout or the screws...he said it needs a new bearing and seals but never gave me a reason why it needs rebuilt but told me it only has 35k on the blower...to rebuild it would be around $275-$300...would you guys pass on that deal or go for it? i dont want ot make a mistake here
reason im looking is because i have an s/c going on the car but its becoming a huuuge pita because i have to custom make everything along the way...id be saving myself some time and headaches with the eaton blow and tork tech kit to install it....and no, i dont want to buy a whipple, vortech, paxton, ect....
2... i can also get a CHE axle brace for 100 shipped to me....i dont do very much 1/4 mile racing but thats what this seems to be for when i was researching it...i was just wondering if it would benefit me at all on the road course? anyone have any experience with an axle brace?
oh yeah, guess i have 3 questions...should i pull the trigger on some mach 1 c pillars?
