The aluminum flywheel and McLeod clutch went on a little over a week ago. Took about 8 days to get used to driving an aluminum flywheeled car, especially with the new clutch! Felt like a 16 year-old learning to drive a standard trans for the first time,LOL. Stalled 3 times in the 5 minute drive home from Graham's
But much better now,no stalling and the acceleration seems smoother and a little quicker. Gonna give it a few more weeks to break in the clutch and then gonna get some numbers from the dyno in Saskatoon.
Also,my old flywheel was machined so poorly that the old clutch was only grabbing on about 50% of the surface area,so that explains why it was slipping on the slicks and stuff. The clutch itself it still about 95% good so anybody that might be interested should check the parts section.
