Finally Decided to get Blown

not yet. i actually just got the car bolted back together. changed out the gt40 for a performer rpm, and swapped out the shorties and h-pipe for longtubes and a prochamber. also, i thought for a v1, my blower was abnormally quiet. this ended up being due to a loose belt. it screams now. i would estimate about 430whp in its present state. im contacting adperformance today regarfing a dart 331, afr 185, custom cam longblock so hopefully within the next 6-8 weeks i will be swapping out the motor. as i said before, im looking for 550whp. i think that is plenty for a street car that will see very limited or no track time at all.

Sounds like you are on the right path.... Wish I had done the dart block. Are you going with the datr sportsman??
 
You are correct, the dart sportsman is all that is needed. It is cheaper than the iron eagle, and it will still support more power than 99% of us here will ever make, plus it is machined to accept hydro. lifters which saves ~$350 on buying retro fit lifters. If I ever do up one, it will be a dart sportsman.
