took me a while, but i finally sold my acura integra and bought me a 89 5.0 convertible. yes, i know its a fixer upper, but i love it way better than my integ! got it with a lower mileage motor (approx 40k), all new gaskets and seals, new clutch, flywheel, and stock everything else except dumped flowmaster 40's. im looking into suspension first because i do not like the handling at all! my plans are to just make this into a street car, not so much the strip. id be happy hittin 12's in this thing. did a ton of research on different suspension set-ups, but would like to hear from other vert owners about their set-ups.. any comments or whatever else is welcome!!

well if you plan to hit 12s then also plan to get a 6 pt roll bar in that vert. I know it sucks but all of us vert guys gotta do it, hell I am gonna be in the 12s on spray but I'll just make one run on the spray then get kicked out, hell you need one for anything under 13.99 and i plan to hit that NA on a tire. It looks clean, good luck with it, the verts are great for sunny days!!! Welcome to SN btw!!!!

yea i know.. one stud/lug is missing on the front and the brakes need changing soon.. dont know whether to buy one stud and slap it in and fix the brakes, or just upgrade to 5lug and rear disc, or what.. my head is just filled with ideas right now.. i guess i did get that fever that RPM was talkin bout..

Go with a Cobra rear bumper and a nice set of LX tails. Of course you'll then need a wing too. Saleen.

I'm all excited and it's not even my car. LMAO, welcome to the family.
