RC, the headers have a lifetime warrenty on the JetHot coating. As for the coloring, I'm sure it will dull a tad in due time....but could prob be polished back (not my thing though)

I was referring more to turning that bluish color that the chrome turns.

How's the "insualting" component of it?

My have been on the car for about 1500 miles or so, and still look the same as when I put them on. Insulating factor is excellent.

Yah I ran BBK ceramic shoerties for 3 years, and they never turned blue.
Well man does the car have a new sound...WOW. This thing sounds about the same at idle, but when I give it some gas OMG..its like unleashing the beast..lol. The shorties didn't scream so..man this mofo sounds plain sick!! It is def. night/day difference!
Install wasn't to bad either, and man do those 1 3/4 tubes look sexy in their! As for the coating I started it and ran it for about 5 min..then went to re-tighten bolts..headers were so hot i couldn't touch-um (right after shut-down)....after about 1-2 min. I was able to grab them, heh, this stuff is awesome!
