Matt don't be doing dry 2nd gear burn outs with stock gears. If you must do them, have one of your friends wet your back tires before hand and then do it.

I tried to spin em in 2nd the other day. I started from a stop in 2nd gear, let the clutch out nice and easy, mashed the throttle and got all kinds of sideways. I love torque

Need to check that.

Yeah man, if your car won't do a burnout, something is wrong. My 1988 Chevy 1500 truck with a 305 ci. motor will do nasty posi peals (power braking of course)... I hate to think how many sets of tires I burnt off of that thing thinking I was "cool" back in HS. I will say though, the thing did leave some bad ass burnouts for the HP (or lack of) it had.

Are those pieces of tires flying all over the place in the burnout? Very nice BTW.:Track:

I just dump the clutch in second and it spins easily, is that a bad thing? All the burnouts in my video are done like that.
