I wonder what the deal is with stock axles. We run stock 4 cyl. axles in this car all last year and never broke one.

My stockers lasted 5-6 years off the rev limiter and to this day are still fine.

My stock Ranger axles lasted 2 passes on the third went.

No rhyme or reason.

+1..I probably have 300 or so passes on my rear end and haven't touched anything but the gears. Haven't had any problems yet. This includes a few high 1.4's and majority 1.5 60fts and probably 40 or so 10 sec. passes. The only thing i've noticed is the stock trac-lock seems to be getting tired.
