too many problems. i got the alternator braket and it didnt work because the blower shaft is in the way and also my 3G alt is way too big. so i had to make some crazy bracketry and i still dont think its gonna work.

atleast 1 headgasket.
me and my buddy chad took it out for a cruise. we stopped in a parking lot and a few other people i knew showed up, we hung out for a while. i went to take it for another drive and got next to this old dodge i think it said swinger on the side. he gave it all he had and i didnt even bother to get on it. we pull up to the next light and i give it about 1/4 throttle, he doesnt go. then the last light we start going, i gave him the hit and i waited till 2500 then gave it 3/4 throttle and gained 3 cars by 4500 and let off. so sweet!!

then later i pulled next to some (black) guys in an old caprice with 22s on it, did the same thing to him i love f-ing with people. he told me to pull over cuz he wanted to talk to me. im going to put a carb and some valve covers on his car for $350.

but anyway when we were on our way back to my house (at this point i still hadnt got on it thru all the gears) i opened it up all the way and high 11s i tell you!! but near the top of third gear BOOMPH!!! anitfreeze all over the place, my windshield is covered, ad i had the t-tops off so i got soaked too. I go to stop and see what happened and the car died. once i got it stopped i found the lower radiator hose blew off, so i think... eh easy fix. after that gets done i turn it back on and its running like total *****. so i go about 1/4 mile to the next gas station to get some water. steam was coming out of the breather and the oil was all milky blown headgasket

i poured in 2 gallons and try to start it again with the cap off the radiator so i can see the motor suck it down and i can add more water. well when i cranked it water shot out of the radiator about 2 feet, and it surged with every compression stroke. must have been re-using old head bolts that did it. im gonna get some arp head studs and hopefully have it running again next week.

all 8 cylinders were blown out and a couple of the heads bolts were loose the lifter valley was full of gasket material and all the plugs were covered with it too.

other than that nothing was really damaged.
