Finally got off my butt and ordered parts for my mustang.. (after asking a **** ton of questions on here.. )

Ordered:
70mm FRPP throttle body
42# FRPP injectors
AEM Plug-N-Play computer
GM style 3bar MAP sensor
and a new AIT

I still have a lot of things to do to it after I get these parts installed..

I'm looking for a hood thats lighter weight than the stock one, preferably a heat extractor style hood

Also need light weight front fenders ... probably a bunch of other parts too.. lol

Can't help on the fenders, but as far as the hood goes I got mine from H.O. Fibertrends - Late Model Mustang Fiberglass Parts . They made the hoods for the 95 Cobra R's for Ford. Very good quality. http:/www.cervinis.com also has good hoods.

Any idea on the weight of the hood you bought vs the stock hoods? trying to lighten the car up as much as possible since I need to replace some of the stuff as it is...

If memory serves me correctly, the hood from HO Fibertrends was 21-22 lbs.

I am not sure the weight of the stock hood.

i don't know exact weights but if you really want a light weight heat extractor hood, you need the composite saleen hood. as far as fenders, any fiberglass ones are going to be better than the stock sheet metal.
