I literally stole this thing for 3500 dollars. It has a really nice system in it. Viper Alarm, 17" Cobras, New Tires, Spintech Sportsmans, etc.

Best thing of all though is that the underside of the car looks like it had never seen the street and the engine is completely stock other than a 3G upgrade. The AOD is rebuilt about 10,000 miles ago with a really wild shift kit. Its definitely a fun ride.

It had a salvage title so im guessing someone really took their time with this rebuild. Its the cleanest old car ive ever seen.

Edit: The lights are kinda crap, but thats an easy fix.

I got my one owner 93 for 3800.00 never wrecked just a few mods. Lots of miles.

You did good. Considering it came with wheels good tires and some additional items like alarm and system.

Oh yeah, 85k original miles! It runs pretty damn good for a stock motor. Its slow by todays standards, but plenty of fun.

Its a 21 year old car. Salvage title does not mean much at this point. In CA this car is an absolute steal.

It does to some. It means at some point the car was totalled out and rebuilt.

Now why it was totalled is a different story, but a lot of people, like myself, see "salvage title" and walk away.

Meh, its a 3500 hundred dollar car. If I was investing any real money into it, then id care.

I wouldnt care. It could have been stolen and stripped. It dosent mean it was wrecked.

If you really want to know what happened. Carfax it. It should tell the whole story.

Back in the day when there was no carfax etc. Alot of Cars were totaled and fixed no salvage titles etc, and there was no way to know. It really isnt that big of a deal if it is fixed right.
There are alot of cars on this site right now that have clear titles and have been wrecked bad enough that if iinsurance would have been involed they would have been totaled and salvaged tagged.

I had a car get hail dings and they totaled it. It cost more to have all the dings fixed than the car was worth. It had salavage title cause I bought it back from ins company. Alot of The dings eventually poped out from the heat and cool cycles.

I have had some really nice salvage title cars. I know a guy that has a 95 or so viper that is salvage title. It had nose cone damage the fram was stright. He fixed it and you cant tell anything ever happned. He got it for 50% of market value.

True

As long as you are happy that's all that matters.

It doesnt mean it was wrecked. If a jealous girlfriend knifed the leather interior (if it had one) the cost of a new interior would usually total it out. Toss in some new seats, apply for a salvage title and there ya go.

 I dont know where you live but an Auto 5.0 with a Salvage title for 3500 is right on the money.

its a nice car but I wouldn't jump up and down, selling a 5.0 with an auto trans is tough. But if you like a 5 speed swap is not too difficult and will pay you great dividens.

it looks really good so I hope you have lots of fun with it

Thanks everyone. I really like the car and its in wonderful shape.

Im gonna try to keep it stock as long as possible. An S trim + GT40 topend has been calling my name though.
