Finally, some pics of the sleeper

Did a little bit of work on the car today. Finished installed the Steeda Underdrive pulleys - major pain in the ass on an automatic. Mounted my Nitrous arming switch & purge switch to the left of the cigarette lighter/under the traction control/fog light/rear defrost switches (pulled the center console panel). Also removed my Typhoon intake manifold - sold it locally here so I can upgrade to the P-51 shortly so the original PI Intake manifold is back on . On the list for tomorrow - jack up the back of the car and paint the rear brake calipers to match the fronts. These are the first pictures I've posted up to the site here. Also - note the new toy for the week, SCT Livewire dash mounted tuner/performance meter. That thing is awesome! The car is 100% stock on the outside (unless you see it purging the nitrous hehe). 2001 "Spring Feature" Mustang GT.

Yeah - it's done up Spring Feature style. The Typhoon was definitely good for the price, the main difference I noticed was the high RPM power. If you have your stock rev limiter extended (for manual) or your shift points extended (for automatic) you can definitely make some extra HP from probably 4500 and up. I'm saving for the P-51 intake - it's a better setup for N/A cars. Their dyno tests on a STOCK mustang GT pulled in 17RWPH more than the stock intake manifold. It's a tad bit pricey though, about 1100 bucks from my local shop here. The one thing I would warn you about with the typhoon is to make sure you have a dremel handy with lots of grinding bits. It has flash (casting residue) all over the inside which will disrupt airflow. After smoothing that out its a really nice piece. I love Professional Products, good price and good products. I'd love some Black Bullitt wheels, or Black Cobra/Saleen style wheels, but the stock wheels are so unsuspecting for what the car packs under the hood and frame.

Mazen - go with a wet kit and you can safely push 125 with the stock manifold. I had the typhoon on for the big 200 shot .

I got my Typhoon for 480 - Satin finish. Someone here on Stangnet posted a negative review in the parts review area - but I'm sure they didn't even bother to look inside the intake or lower runners for flash before installing - because the guy lost horsepower. Gains on N/A set up are probably around 10 rwph - if you have a CAM'd set up or a blower it's supposed to really add some serious power.
