FINALY GOT LONGTUBES DONE!!!!

well its been a long 3 days.... after putting the passenger side on 5 times and pulling it off 4 ive finally got it done... its amazing what happens when you take ur time and look at the whole picture rather then getting into a big rush... The low end torque is CRAZY!!! the power band is so much smoother too... Im gonna see what it puts next week on the dyno... hoping about 275rwhp and about 320 ft. lbs. or torque or so... And this also fixed my SURGE!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

Just think that was on a 5.0. Me and three guys did LT's on a 2v gt. Not fun at all.

no.... tues. night i put it all together and the h pipe was hitting the crossmember along with one of the primaries hitting the k memeber... so i pulled it all apart wensday and thought i fixed my clearance issues... I hit the primary in the wrong spot so i had to pull the passenger side again to fix that... so wensday night about 11:30 i said the heck with it an walked away... came back yesterday and had i tall done with 3 hours... so im basically a professional at installing longtubes now... Anybody need any installed??? NOT!!!!

yeah im sure i could do it in about that now.... what held me back so long yesterday was the freakin starter... i couldnt grip the starter and hold the header up outta the way and start the threads at the same time... gotta me smarter then the car sometimes!!!

you need to get a ministarter that can be adjusted to be farther away from the headers. i have one that i got from orielie's for 180 but i am sure you can find them cheaper.

the houston area, you know of it.lol actually if you go north on H59 from downtown houston you will get to my town in about 30 minutes of driving all of 70
