If they require it, it must be within reach of the driver. Just see if you can lay it on the seat next to you, otherwise bungee it to the passenger seat with a towel underneath to protect the leather.
Get a small one and stick it in the cupholder?

Better than the jeep look on the a pillar, is just below the center concole on the passenger side. It will not be in your way, easily accessable and you only have to put two small slits to bolt the bracket down! So if you want to remove it you can very easily!

They do specify that it must be securely fastened or strapped.Victory lap?? My wife thinks I'm hot, but I don't think I need a fire extinguisher.
