I just installed my MM clutch quadrant, firewall adjuster and non-adjustable cable yesterday. The instructions for the adjuster said it should be adjusted so there is a little slack when the clutch pedal is not pressed, so as not to wear out the throwout bearing.
But what Hissin50 said above makes it sound like maybe the TOB should be in contact with the fingers on the pressure plate all the time.
Which is the correct way to have the cable adjusted?
