Right click Save As please... you will want to watch it more than once to see everything.

I put in the video the big mistake I made. Guess it looked worse from outside the car, cause the guys running the dragstrip were talking about it afterwards and said they were nervous for me.

BTW - don't have a GOOD excuse for the stupid mistake, other than my g/f moved out the day before. It's all better though, she's back.

I'll post a pic of my camera mount later. A guy in the club made me two versions and gave them to the club!

I've got a few better videos (spanking a Camaro, and an old Chevelle) but I've got to get a bigger HD first. Not enough free space to edit them.

Last year he was running 12.80s - but it hasn't been running good all year. This run James whipped my arse. He ran a 13.7@103 to my 14.45@104

I'm not too happy with my Nittos.... I'm getting worse 60fts than my street tires. They are slightly narrower and shorter. But man, they won't hook on our track for crap. On the street they seem to grab good????

All the videos have the burnout in them - so I'll be recutting the videos to include that as well. Going to try a different camera angle next time, but this one isn't too bad.

I'm glad I threw the new tach in before we went to the track. Makes it a bit more interesting. My other runs you can see the nittos sticking for the second gear hit. It was so much that the camera turned each time.

This run was just screwed up from the get go and I thought I could ride it out like my street tires and they would catch, but it didn't happen. If you slow down the video you can see the second gear shift just went nuts. I've only had the car get out of shape in second one other time at the track and that was a couple years ago on my 16" crap tires.

you recovered pretty quick so that's cool, it probably doesn't look as bad here as it does outside the car- like you said.

Glad you were able to recover... I don't know why, but I always like in car videos better than videos from outside the car.

Back when I posted about camera mounts, people were making fun of me like I was stupid. I think it's pretty kewl. This was just my first try. I'll get better shots as we go.

They said mine kicked out between 2-3 feet.... much more and it would have been circle track racing.
