First Mods To Do?

I was wondering what the first mods are that I should do. I have an '89 Mustang GT. I'm buying it with shorty BBK Headers, BBK H-Pipe (not sure if off road or not), and Flowmasters (not sure what series).

I was wondering what my next mods are to do. I was thinking intake, throttle body, and then I'm stumped. What do you guys suggest, and what are the best brands out there?

Thanks!

First would be gears without a doubt. Second would be subframe connecters. Third would be a complete exhaust setup from the headers back. If you're new to 5.0s and especially if you're new to V8s, you've got plenty of power to get used to, and just these mods will let a stock 5.0 show it's true colors. After those, i'd start on the suspension. Get some nice lowering springs, new shocks/struts, caster/camber plates for the front, upper and lower control arms for the rear. After all that, even with a stock motor and trans, your car will kick some ass.

My car has a bone stock motor with 250k+ miles on it. Sure it's nothing to brag about speed wise, but every person i've raced was really surprised that the motor is as stock as it is, and i've still got a stock suspension.

Power can only do what power does when it's got a good suspension to work through.

If you are going to do gears then you mine as well do axles and a good tractoin locker. It is pointless to pay someone $300 to install gears then have to go back and pay the same $300 to do the traction locker when most shops will charge $300 to install everything at once. Any mustang you buy with over 80k miles is on the verge of a traction locker failure.
