Ok guys im new to the PI 4.6 world.... WTF are PI heads? and PI intake? The 97 GT im about to buy supposedly has a 99 head swap.......how can i tell if this is true? and just what the hell is PI lol?

monkie, i havne't seen too many non-pi heads even in the same realm as an LS1...in fact i've NEVER seen . Except maybe a supercharged one pushing more boost than you should on a stock engine.

I've seen a non-pi headed GT with a 150 shot beat a LS1.

LOL 150 shot...i wonder how many runs it took to blow that up.

All you have to do to run 12's in an LS1 is get a LID and some exhaust...

PI are performance increased heads...in other words they flow more air and therefore put out more power.
