Finally made it to my local track, which is a 1/8th mile, but i had a blast. My best run was a 9.23 at 77.55 mph, is that pretty good for a automatic?? my best 60 ft was a 2.15 and best reaction time was a .017, anyway does anyone know about what a 9.23 would run in the 1/4 mile??
Some might say something is wrong with the car, but that's pretty close to what my dads 06GT ran at the track. Your run would equate to about a 14.4 at 97mph in the quarter.
Theres alot more left in that car, i'm sure of it. I ran a 9.3 spinning and wheel hopping the whole way down. I would say thats a good solid run though on your part, especially for being your first time. Get some tires and foot brake it at the light and you'll be much happier!
yeah i think the weather had something to do with it, it was about 90 degrees and humid as hell, the only other mustang there ran a 8.8 but he had DR's 4.10's and a tune
