SEcond Problem - WHoever it was that posted that the nipple was too close to the TB was right. I had to put on the tubing to the filler neck, THEN put the intake back down. HOPEFULLY, I wont need to remove that hose.

Wonder why you guys had that problem don't think mines that close. They came back from the shop fast. Can't wait to see pics. Even after all the problems you've had I'm sure in the end you'll see its all worth it. My polishing job looks like **** and it still looks 100x better under my hood with them

3:04...FINALLY got the Vortech and Alt on.
Went under the car to change the oil, and hook up the VOrtech oil lines and guess what???? The drain line is pinched under the Vortech...Gottas start 1/2 way over again (already had tightened the belt, etc. :bang: or  depending on how you want to view it.

Im now NOT gonna finish, because my 9yo is at a party, and I promised the 8yo I would take her in the pool.

Looks like Im gonna have to "try" to finish tomorrow.

my fox vc's went on without a hitch yesterday.

actually, we did not know about the longer bolts needed. luckily, my freind was with me doing them and said its ok i got a couple 302's sitting in my garage. so, we walk over there and lukily they were all fox motors and had vc bolts:banana:

thanks George :nice:

also, as far as gaskets, get the steel/rubber ones from ford. they are expensive but will not leak and require no rtv.

I have them on already...the original ones from 1994. They are "stuck" firmly in place....hopefully they are still good (I removed my original VC's twice before and reused them)

Have you run the car and had NO leaking yet?

As far as the bolts, it turns out that 1" x1/4" are the same ones we use to install our hurricane shutters, and I had a whole bag of them lying around
