alright, did the otherside, this one was much faster, getting both new cables in the equalizer was a pain. the trick ended up being to rig the handle so it had a bunch of slack. and using 2 pairs of vise grips to get all the slack in the rear cables, once it was all there everything seems great! It stops super good, i can get all 4 wheels to lock up when i slam on it, it has no drag. The parking brake works and keeps it from moving. It won't lock up the rear tires while driving though.
So I spent 6$ on the equalizer cable 13.50$ x2 for 2 new cables, 20$ on new shoes, 5$ on hardware, and about 13$ on a spoon and spring tool, well worth it to have all new stuff in the rear, and a working parking brake!
