Just got the rack, shaft, and tie rod ends in today, so i installed everything.
Install went real easy, only took 30 mins or so, and surprisingly everything fit and slipped right on.
I eyeballed the toe in/out,but will leave the final adjustment up to an alignment shop.

Must say, it really cleaned up the look, and even steers really easy with the car sitting still. Should be much easier to steer then my power rack was( without a pump) They say you drop 30lbs, but the diference in a power rack to manual is more like 7-10lbs. They must refer to dropping all the PS equipment, such as pump, lines, and rack.

well im building it now, broke a ring, and overfiled another, so Monday i should have the new rings i need. Then monday night the shortblock should be built.. Monday or Tuesday. Then i need to send the heads out to get checked and O-ringed, which shoudlnt take more then a week, or so. After that its all good, since everything else is ready to go.

Just need to order a flexplate, balancer, some 6AN line for the tranny, March alternator brackets, and get the turbo pipes coated. All of which should be done within 3.5 weeks, so i can make it to the Gainsville FFW in 4 weeks.
Check my Webpage for recent pics, and info

Wish me luck, im gona need it!
