flex plate bolt questions... thread sealant on the bolts or not.

Im doing my rear main seal again this time with a Felpro teflon seal.

I've heard that the bolts that attach the flex plate to the engine need to be sealed, but I wasn't sure.

If they do need to be sealed what type of sealant should I use silicone, etc?

Thanks guys for the replys, got a few more questions, how to lineup the flexplate to the rear engine, the rear main seal pic is an actual picture I took of the rear end. I din't have my digital cam, so the drawn picture is what my flexplate looks like. Do I align the flexplate weight balancer with the unthreaded hole of the rear of the engine (this hole is a blind hole that doesn't go all the way through, unlike the other 6 which do go all the way through ? there are no other marks on the flexplate except for the key way mark only in one of the holes on the plate.

question 2) Same for the after market torque converter (red line 3k flash stall) no marks on that either to mount it to the flexplate.
Help.

Thanks guys, it does install only one way, although I don't know why Hayne's and Chilton recommended to mark them both.

The torque converter same question as before.
The flexplate has 4 holes that are used to mount the torque converter, each one of the holes belongs to a wing of the torque converter. How do I figure out which of the torque converter wings corresponds to the flexplate holes ? or does that not even matter ?
