Floor cracks...omgwtfbbq

So, I knew my Capri had a crack in the floor under my driver seat....


I didn't know it was THIS bad.

Dave, my Ex and his almost son-in-law teamed up to fix it for me.

There was also a little crack under the back seat. Got that welded too.

Finished product.

I also now have a newish back seat and newish front seats. Next project will be either new carpet or attempt to steam clean the existing carpet. It's just disgusting.

Time for some subframe connectors with the seat reinforcements.

I'm waiting to have my SFCs welded in, I need do do some other cutting and welding done too.

Lynn....you need to lay down some POR15 on that entire floor. The rest looks pretty nasty and the POR15 will stop the rest of the rust from getting worse.

Why is it so rusty in Arizona?
