flowmaster cat back on 04' cobra?

As a new owner of a 04'cobra, I am going to do the normal bolt on's. I am
going to do a nice x pipe with cats, but I really am not sure of which cat back
to do. I am not that found of the Magnaflow sound, but it seems like everyone has that setup. I really like the Flowmaster sound ( except for the
drone ) but i am wonderin' why no one else has flows on the 03'-04' cobra.
I know that Magnaflows have great gains because of straight thru design, and SLP the same but are REALLY LOUD. I am leaning towards Flowmaster
but I do not want to sacrifice performance for sound. Do you guys think
I will lose some power going with the flows instead of the other catbacks?

I too have a new 04 cobra. I did the magnaflow cat back. I did research the system before the purchase. I like the magnaflow sound, But I wish it was just a bit louder. And I have heard I can achieve this by using the x-pipe with or with out cats. The fit is excellent and I got the stainless system for a price you could not beat at www.completeexhaust.com.

Don't go with flowcrappers on your 04, it will not sound much different than stock. I had mine on for a week before I ripped them off an tossed them in the garbage. Flowmasters on this motor do not sound anything like they did on my 01 which sounded great. I'm just running straight pipes now where the muffs used to be, until my cat back gets here, and it still isn't loud at all.
