Is anyone having problems w. the FMS alu. driveshaft hitting on your lowered SN 95 rides, If so how did you fix the problem

My stang is lowered 1.7 in front and 1.5 in back

Yup....Mine hit, and has hit somemore...

last thing i did was to install a adjustable pinion snubber, as it was suggested to help...and i haven't seen it get worse....i think it stopped it....been to the drags since i installed it, and haven't noticed it worse....i only have bout and inch of travel and it hits the rear, kinda limits the travel more..
supposedly they help with launching the car to...gotta admit, makes 60' times improved bigtime....

i never did grind the E bracket, that would be the easiet thing to try....mine still has shavings in it...
For some, its the scurge of the Alum DS....secially when you got 3 or 4 in the car and bang some gears.... thats when i got the BIG gouge...

Is the FMS aluminum one bigger than the stocker or something?

yes it is it is about 1/2 inch bigger

Check your upper and lower CA their rubber bushings could be wore out allowing the axle housing to rotate up causing the rubbing.

I replaced my arms and the rubbing went away.

Jerry. good point on the LCAs...been seeing that alot lately...i still have the 67k factory ones...maybe they need to be changed...

Thanks for the info on the LCA, I have about a 100k on the original ones, Does any one have any ideas on which are the best LCA for the buck?
