i dont believe it will, because an automatic yoke is longer than a standard yoke.it may fit the spline but it will not slide in all the way on the standard tranny.
Some people have cut the yolk down off an auto trans to get it to fit. What I have seen is that the outer section isn't splined and the section further back is splined. People claim if you cut off the unsplined section you can make it work. I've always just changed my yolk to the appropriate one for the transmission. I don't like the idea of cuting it down because it will likely put the rotating mass off ballance unless you cut it on a lathe or maybe an end mill if you get it setup right for the cut. But with all that effort, why not just spend between 25 to 75 bux for a used or new correct yolk ?
I'll have to commparison shop the difference between turning the C4 yoke I have, VS buying one. I am running short on time, and can't wait for shipping..
I actually had a C4 yoke, I had forgot about. No more military deployments for me, I got retired this week :-(
Time to move out of Idaho, and head to Colorado!
