fog light problems. paging ford techs

so my pass side fog light went out a couple years ago. no biggie, i replaced it. then it went out again a couple months ago. ok, replaced it for a second time. now last week it went out again for the 3rd time (driver side light is still original) so i figure ive got an intermittant short to ground in the circuit. however, over the past few weeks i notice several mustang GTs with their passenger side fog light out. coincidence??? or is there a problem?? MIKE????

Start by making sure there is not a small crack somewhere on the lens that is allowing water to get in. Just a little bit of water on the bulb will damage it.

luckily i don't have that prob. I think i've only burned out one fog light since i've bought the car in 4 years

funny up until i changed my fog lights to silverstars they never blew out, but now i have gone thorugh three bulbs on the drivers side in 4 months

Silverstars blow out on their own. They do not have a long rated life..only 100 hours.

Thats only 2 months if you have them on for 2 hours every night.
