Fog light switch wiring

Well i went to ford and they do have what i need... but it will cost me 240 or so i believe he said . Cant just get the harness i need you get all the wiring that runs through the center colsole Even looked to see if i could just get the connectors but only 2000 and newer and they didnt have what i need. Looks like i will have to make my way to a junkyard one of these days.

I wired mine so they ONLY come on with the headlights...That way, you dont forget to turn them off!

Yeah ... it doesn't matter if you forget. The "independent foglights mod" will make the fogs turn off if the car is off. If the PO of your car wired them so that they would stay on while the car is off ... I don't blame you for wanting to re-wire, lol. But why would someone do that in the first place?

OOopps I mispoke...My quote refers to the "standard" Ford way of doing it.

I meant that I wired them so the fogs are INDEPENDENT Of the HL, but will only come on with power to the car. If you turn the ignition off, the fogs go off with it ..MY BAD!!!
