I am selling an AFR 165, Ported Edelbrock Performer Intake, FTI camshaft combination (or separately) all designed by Ed Curtis @ FTI. All of it came out of a running engine off a daily driver. I am going with a new combination from Ed, so I need to sell.
All parts have ~50K on them. These were on a daily driver. It was designed for 2600-5600 RPM powerband. I ran 87.33 MPH (~110 MPH in the ¼ mile) in the 1/8th mile with a 3,400 lb race weight with T5 ’93 5.0L. It was never tuned, just bolted on.
AFR 165’s (1402’s) – Upgraded ARP 7/16” studs, 11/32’s valve stems, FTI Upgraded Springs, 58cc combustion chamber, viton seal upgrade. They have been cleaned and seal checked. One exhaust header thread is larger (larger bolt supplied). I am including used Stage 8 Locking Header Bolts (without locking washers) with the heads.

Ported Edelbrock Performer EFI Intake – Ported by Tom Moss for AFR 165’s. Lower has been bead-blasted. The thermostat thread holes are cross threaded, but they seal. There is a little cosmetic flaking on the bottom of the upper intake from the finish. The back right ear has been re-welded on after I broke an ear off. It has been like that for ~50,000 miles with numerous replacements and reinstalls of the upper intake – it is not an issue. The purchaser will get the intake bolts and the hardware to install it.

FTI Camshaft – Designed by Ed Curtis @ FTI. Powerband is 2600-5600 RPM. A .560”/.556”, 224*/224* (280*/274*) duration with a 111 LSA. Designed for a stock 302 shortblock (untouched pistons) with the AFR 165’s and Performer Intake. There is very slight surface rust, but you cannot feel it with your fingers.

Engine Works Hardened Pushrods 6.2500” for the above combination - $20 SHIPPED.
Used Rollmaster Timing Chain - $20 SHIPPED.
Used HR Eaton Lifters from FTI - $30 SHIPPED.
