for these Sound Addicts...what does it prove really? I love my mustang...its my 1st car and at 17 when i got it I have no complaints even being a V6...I to wanted a little hp and sound which i got eventually but it was just to satisfy me not to stand out i love cars and working on them even if a import learning is learning...so you guys who wanna have the loudest car are you trying to prove anything i hope not and hope your not tryin to impress ne1 esp. V8 owners like GT's Camaros TransAms Vettes etc. unless the car has balls to back it up (all sound no go).......when it comes down to it your car probably still is slow as hell on the performance scale and i mean those who go to the track and run 17's and high 16's or just 16's period and talk shi t to riced out civics who can probably get lower times then you with less money neways....people who are in this group waste our time at the track waiting for you guys to finish because its more of a hang out then a bolt on try it at the track nite...i love all cars wether domestic import euro(performance cars i mean or cars that are semi good stock)....what I dont like are the people who swear ther car is the badass by buying a walmart wing and NOS stickers from autozone and put it on ther car or 170947534inch exhaust tips ona civic that sound like dirtbikes on the road they have the mentality that there ish is bad but it jus sucks donkey Dikc.......you want loud listen to a 5.0 , cobra or a ss camaro when they run dumps or just a full exhaust period not to mention what you hear is not only sound but a lot of HP and TQ....cuz when you pull up to a WS6, blown GT, or even a Civic sleeper with a t4 turbo it will blow you away...and a civic doesnt have to be loud to do so...so what would you rather have in the end...a loud slow ass car which sounds loud but your not even moving fast like the civics but better sound or one that can be loud or quiet but still pulls like a monster and makes others feel stupid when they " attempt " to race you...

Any muffler is better than a stock muffler.

Loud cars without the power to truly be "loud" sound like ass anyways.

Haha... the quote "speak softly and carry a big stick" comes to mind. Better to have the power and not let the world know it then to front and have nothing when you need it.

nothing pissed me off...its this post of loud loud loud i mean you can appreciate loud when your doing 11's or driving at 140 160mph but loud when your doing 15mph at the same rpm as a hyundai sonota next to you seems stupid cuz for the most part people will drive in high rpms to be heard when your just getting more gas at the pump weekly...cause when you hit the gas all you hear is sound and you dont see much movement in most of these guys cars who decide this route...the SRT8 Chrysler 300 is quiet but still pulls like high 13's low 14's stock and is quiet as hell not to mention with 4 doors and all options...a V8 yes but huge ride with little sound but a big stick like Theodore Roosevelt's quote mentioned with war...as seen above^ by Adverse2Change.....and about rice those guys wether its a civic camry mustang camaros w/e doesnt have balls basically means you throw random ish on your car with some bs sound and intake and think its hot...that s hits wack...now theres people whos car looks like a mustang with the ugliest JDM style kit but run a turbo with nitrous or a ProCharger and at least something went right...theres some doosh around here with a old Sabb and works at walmart with a walmart wing tiny lil metal thing...some bs seat covers and a 3a muffler or sumtin and told my brother he runs 10's at the track haha...he didnt no what size turbo he upgraded to when my brother asked him and i know my brothers Sentra SE-R would eat that car and its stock and I know my brothers SE-R sure as hell cant take me...now that Sabb owner is example of rice not tomention the decal kit on the side from walmart as well...he must get good deals on little trinkets like that...thats rice and for others who dont even have a car dont talk about others rice or not...not to mention these people who try and argue about advice and stuff that dont drive the same setup or drive nething but there moms Caravan...c'mon be serious...im no car genious but my dads been teaching me since I was young doing minor stuff like breaks oil changes engine swaps....so i still dont know everything but i do read alot about this stuff and I know more then the average person and a whole lot more then some person throwin a intake and ypipe duals with NOS octane boost thinking their Mario Andretti on the road......we've all seen it from drivers on a daily basis especially on the highways...

Difference btw loud and nice though- alot of cars that are doing 160 (or fast accel which is >*) are nice as opposed to loud (lound doesn't mean speed). See- I think that a KB'd mach 1 w/ all of everything performance built is badass- but then if the mach adds a body kit OR gay wheels OR euros OR aftermarket interior anything (aside from real guages (real as in less than 3 in.)) etc then it becomes rice. I am hardcore about that- stock body all the way.

Edit: SRT-8 huh? Couldn't you have picked a better example? Lol

I picked the SRT-8 because its a lux. car that still moves faster then most cars on the road stock....i used this as an example because they're quiet nice rides that haul as$....yeah people can put some riced out parts on cars but still be badass like a *** kit ona COBRA but at least it moves...may look like $ hit to most people other then the owners but all you can say is that it looks bad but most of the time youll see the bumper anyways......and If I mentioned SRT-4 Neon...yeah its still a neon but just like a Civic with a turbo setup up...still a civic but that civic may run 12's...I raced one at the track took him at the line but on the 1/8th he started catching up and at the 1/4 he was gone....built motor with a turbo...the car can run high 13's low 14's pending traction and this on b.s street tires he had...and the outside was all stock except a front lip and polished exhaust but like i was saying the srt4 still hauls ass stock...my friend ran a 13.8 at orlando speedworld one nite and I think thats impressive

One of the funnest parts of a faster V6 would be laughing at those cobras with kits on them. Thats why I like riding in the MR2 or G- b/c I can give ppl hell. I hate body kits period. Srt-4's are quick and a damn nice buy for the money. It is an "American Civic SI"

na not a american civic SI because those SI's are **** cars stock...may have potential but a SRT4 at 10-11 grand running 13's is a bargain...well not really about the kits i mean COBRAS looks real nice stock but the ones with the full S281 Saleen Conversions are nothing to laugh at or the Roush Cobra...from what I think those are the nices mustangs...ive seen a guy on this site with a Mystic Roush Cobra...by far one of the Nicest mustangs I've seen that dont have a lot of extras on it

I don't see a point in making a V6 loud. I like how quiet my 3.8 Stang is. My 5.0 on the other hand.....

MUAAAHAHAHAHAAA..
