I've got a 94 GT, but i've been thinking about getting a 93-95 Lightning. What do you guys think about these, i've never driven one, but they're rated at 340 ft-lbs torque, and 240hp. I think they're pretty bad ass with a 5.8 351w.

My brothers got one its sick! 15.2 at 90 stock. With nothing but E.L. bassani shorties, bassani x pipe, bassani side exhaust, an S-trim and BFG d/r's and he's running 13.12 at 103 with the rev limiter still in tact. Very cool trucks. And definitely underated at 240hp.

They're pretty badass, but I don't see myself trading my Mustang for any truck

Who said anything about trade? Everyone needs a mustang, a truck and a motocycle as far as I'm concerned. All I need is a truck!

I agree with this statement if you can afford it. Cause the 99 on up are bad a** stock. But the 93-95's are a lot cheaper than any of the new ones.

I like the newer lightnings a lot!!! but my budget will not allow it (i'm 17) but i'd like to get one for a second vehicle. I like the look of them a lot, and would love to beat up some ricers in it, only bad thing would be gas milage. Definatly not getting rid of the stang for it, but it would be a nice 2nd car.

My brother has a 2000 L and I love it! There is nothing better then a s/c whine and the side exhaust. He did a upper/lower pulley, mufflers, C&L intake, and some other freebies and put 400hp and 500tq to the ground. He's got a Predator now so those numbers probably increased.
My vote is for a 99+ Lightning!
