Ford Performance Solutions anyone work with them?

hey guys ive been speaking with Ford Performance Solutions the past couple of days on building me a 331 or a 347 stroker motor...

i really like the service i get from these guys!!! there great. i am concerned about all the rumors i hear about the 347 and the oil problems... he said not to worry about that that thats all gone now. at first when they first came out it was a problem buy now thy can go 70,000-100,000 miles on the engines alone...

just wondering if anyone has worked with these guys or has one of their engines and how they like it? do the 347's from them have any oil issues?

by now all those rumors are myths. technology and engineering have all but eleminated it. just make sure that the motor is put together right. might also ask about a piston with the oil rings above the pin.

If you go 347....To have piston not intersect the pin you need to use a 1.17" comp height piston and a 5.315" rod, the 5.4 rod will use a 1.09CH piston.

Built properly neither will have issues...

Personally I would recommed a 331 with the blower...
