Hi, I was just wondering if anyone has ever installed FRPP Cat Back and what their opinions were. The Part # M-5230 M52. I am curious about how loud it is at idle and under acceleration? Would you be able to notice volume over stock exhaust? Also does anyone know what the difference is between Part M5230 M5S and its sound/price? The cat back will be going on my 99 gt, any info is greatly appreciated?

Thanks Mike

I have the M52. I like the sound. I took off some welded Magnaflows that had been on the car for 6 years. It seems louder than stock under accel, not much, but less than the Magnaflows and at idle it sounds stock. I remember reading the system flows 7-10% better than stock. Not like the catback is a major restriction (midpipe is another story). Not sure what the M5S number is. I got mine local for $255. I think had found it online for $275 shipped. I gave the business to my buddy at the Ford/SVT dealership. Installed on my 00GT.

Yup...I think its a mixture of stainless & mild steel, which i guess is 409 stainless...I considered getting it & welding in different mufflers since its cheap & stainless. The one bad thing is even though its 2 1/2", it necks down to 2" at the mufflers

+1 on Bassani sounding the best!!!!!
