FordRacing throttlebody, WTH ?

So this stock replacement FR throttlebody might be part of my idling problems. For one thing, the fresh air hole that goes to the IAC doesnt line up with the IAC hole. Also, I think the hole is smaller than a stock throttle body. And according to the product description on SummitRacing, this higher flow design helps my performance how? What the H? Maybe its made in china like the cobra intake.

So Im gonna put the stock throttle back on tonight and see if it fixes my problem, then figure out how im gonna talk Summit into taking the damn thing back or exchanging it.

Summit generally is pretty good about taking things back. Check your shipping statement. It has a column for returns, and you just put your reason. They do so many orders I doubt they care.

Did you reset the TPS voltage?

My understanding is that FRPP throttle bodies are now supplied by Performance Products aka Chinese crap. It wouldn't surprise me if the quality was a little substandard.

I have one and its an incredible piece. I have a 550+ lift 236 duration cam and my car idles sweet!! Might be the pms that helps but my t/b and spacer were some of the nicest pieces I have ever had......
