Sure an untuned fox computer vs. an untuned 94-95 computer handles mods a lot better. But for it to run at its optimum performance, you're going to need a tune on both cars. So, why not just tune the 94-95 computer which will perform just as well as a tuned fox computer?

Some guys do the fox swap for cost benefits because they have a hook up on parts and know how to do the swap. Me personally, i think its easier to just buy a tuner (like my PMS thats for sale shameless plug) or to have it tuned.

The cobra computer controls a few extra things the fox computer wouldnt, such as the fan. I'm sure there are other functions that the fox cant perform as well. Just tune your cobra computer.

The stock cobra tune looks pretty nice to me. Tune whatcha got if you need to do anything.

Good luck.

Here AND Every other site known to man and then ... one more

The retro fit was more of a viable alternative years ago than these days

Back then ... the knowledge was not like it is these days

That knowledge was driven by more & better hardware/software options to
tune the 94-95 Stangs

When peeps come on here and say ... I heard yada ... yada ... yada...

It appears it takes several years to make the info go away
and
Bring peeps up to the current times in their thinking

The thing about this retro fit thing is ... there is SOME truth to it
so
Having said that ... the retro fit will most likely die a slow ... slow ... death
