congrats 25th for winning this months fotm !!!

so are all those who didn't win this month fotm challenge eligible for next month nominations and they can be nominated month after month until then win is that correct?
if so i already have a nomination for next month then, or is it to early to nominate someone for next month? the reason i ask is before this official fotm challenge became official there seemed to be 3 or 4 fotm posts voting for there favorite who was the winner of fotm.
