If I squint real hard... I still cant see it.

So, they have a color that is close to a color they had on a fox, and... ?

It is not.

Fox tribute is a stretch. They took very little Foxbody styling cues and instead made an 80s retro theme featuring green/white vibing colors.

The only Foxbody elements are the Mustang script logo matching the quarter window font on the back window and the dash.

The Recaros are cool. That pattern never came in a Fox.

This tells us Ford loves the idea of the Foxbody but doesn’t actually want to commit to any of the styling cues. They could have done a nice modern 19” pony wheel. They could have incorporated the Mustang logo in the quarter glass. They could have done lower valance fog lights. They could have patterned the Recaros after the pace car Recaros. They could have done throwback original style 5.0s in a larger size, complete with red dot.

But they didn’t.

This is about the only thing that is fox specific

Ya I’ve seen this all over the internet. Not seeing it either. I heard the gauges will pay homage to the fox body but I think normal new mustangs you can switch to a fox lookalike digital cluster anyways.

Makers Garage did a rendition that at least uses their 18” cobra replicas which is better, but still not much Fox similarities.

Saw the car and claim on Reddit earlier. There were some people saying the grill resembles a II more than anything on the car other than the color resembling a Fox. They're lost and don't know how to actually pay homage to their past - I think that's been pretty apparent since the release of the Mach E at least....

It looks like a rendering and a [real] thing which explains why their "S650" body looks only a hair longer than a Fox in the image on that site.

Of course, I have to wonder the thing weighs. If you're going to do a Fox tribute car then it needs to light and it needs to be simple with analog gauges, a simple audio head unit, and some really junkie factory speakers.

And they could have fit some Fox tail lights into the thing, at the very least.

How hard would it have been to put the mustang on the quarter windows and reissue a classic rim? Could have done louvers and a embossed bumper and I'd be able to see the homage.

Because they know what you(we as consumers) want!
Right?

Do we really need a backup camera with a 24" screen? ???
The little 7-8" screen in our Kia is so bright you can't see out the windows at night! No aftermarket tint.....
Headlights soooo bright oncoming traffic can't see a turn signal so they made it so that headlight on that side turns off????? And that's in the DAYTIME!!
Car manufacturers are getting like politicians,

Circular fog lights on the outer ends of the front fascia would have been the easiest and most ‘tribute’ thing they could’ve done. Maybe it didn’t look right in renderings or something.

I think it would be pretty cool if they just built them again but with a Coyote, 6 speed manual, Cobra like brakes, digital dash, good seats, LED lighting, some kind of user interface with the HVAC & radio in it with the ability to connect to smart phones, and made the fit and finish better. Subframe connectors would also be a welcomed factory addition. This is the only way they can do any justice to a "tribute" Fox Mustang IMO.

My truck and my wife's car are both paid off as is my fox. I work from home so I don't need another car, but I'd go into some debt for a new fox hatch with a coyote if they did it well.
