Hopefully I can restart this thread. Hardly anything has changed since I last posted here, but I figured I'd re-update everyone. Currently my 92 has what I believe is an aftermarket cam (it was a junkyard engine when I got it, so I dont know much), some sort of roller rockers, all I remember is that they were blue, GT40 heads, aswell as intake, 24lb injectors, aswell as a
BBK MAF to go along with it, LMR fender CAI, BBK 70mm TB/EGR spacer, and
flowmaster exhaust. My current issues are as follows: surging idle, sometimes when I clutch in after driving, it'll stick at 2k RPMS until I restart it. With the MAF PLUGGED IN, it WILL NOT rev at all. Wont rev under load, or even in neutral. With it unplugged, it runs much better, however it does still have hiccups. Here's what I've done. I have deleted all EGR related things, and checked vacuum time and time again (still have some sort of leak coming from the lower intake area), changed plugs/wires and gapped plugs to factory settings, checked fuel pressure (got proper fuel pressure, around 40psi or a little under at idle and load), tested 2 BBK 24lb MAF's, no change, replaced fuel filter, and I believe that is it. Within the past few days, it has started burning oil and sending some blue smoke out of the exhaust. Upon removal of the upper intake, I discovered some traces of wet oil. I'm sure I'm missing a few things, but based on this information, what should be my next step? I've done the checklists a few times, and still have not solved my issues. Any ideas?
