i have 89 ex florida highway car, i want to know what was different about these cars. any imfo will help.

there's complete info on here some where for special service vechiles...from what i can remember they have heavy duty radiator/fan clutch..trans cooler, reinforced floor pans, 160 mph speedo.

Unlike most police vehicles, spotlights were not an available, factory option on the SSPs. They got their spotlights installed aftermarket due to Ford engineers' concerns about weakening the A-pillar.
