thanks for posting the link, S-code. However, that look is much too "edgy" for my liking. I really like the Corbeus, Flofits, and REcaros, but I don't think they would match (aesthetically) the look I'm going for in my 67.

I'm resto-modding the car (oops, I hope Mustangs Plus doesn't nail me for using their copyrighted term.

), but only as far as the mechanicals. Appearance-wise I'm trying to keep it as vintage as possible to maintain the car's classic appeal.

The only thing I can't hide is those huge disc brakes behind my 17" wheels.....

Did someone way Bullitts?

Keep your eyes peeled to everyone's least favorite Auction site. They come up in spurts. As soon as you see one posted there will be at least 3 within a month since they command such a nice price. I paid $800 for mine....worth every penny too IMHO. Oh so comfy, large but not bolbous side bolsters to keep me in place on sharp turns without even a seatbelt (no belts installed yet).

Here are my 01 Mustang seats. Blake says they are from the 6 cyl Mustang (I don't know the difference). I like them because they are flatter than the Fox seats (I had 87 seats). Don't mind the wires, they will be tucked up inside my custom console when I'm done.

Man, oh man, I really like those late model Bullitt and Mach seats, but they're so damn pricey. If anyone is interested, he highbacks above were $25... for the pair. Gotta love the u-pull-it yards in Tampa.

I have refurbished '70 highbacks in my fastback. They are just as comfortable as anything newer. They even mount to the '65 rails.

I don't have a single pic of them, but in this conglomerated photo, you can see them at the bottom.

Yup they are leather sn 95 seats.

i have 95 Cobra seats in my '67. while they look fantastic, are comfortable and the tan actually matches '67 parchment vinyl (for the backseat) i would not do them again.

i'm 6' and they're too high for me with my head brushing the headliner. also, when i'm autocrossing they don't do anything to hold you into place (i have 3 point belts too) at all. helmet head clearance is a big no no...

i'm actually looking to replace mine with a set of Firebird/Camaro seats or Miata seats. both have a thin bottom cushion and significant side bolsters. the miata seats are also SUPER light!

just my 2 cents.

Anyway, those look even better than I expected them to. $800 is a pretty decent price. Everytime I have seen any I either forget about the auction or they go for over $1000.

How did that rear fit into your car? I have a complete 95 interior and was thinking about making the rear fit.

I was also wondering how Fostang got the rear seat in. If I replaced the fronts, I'd want the rear to match. How much hacking is involved? Did you have to cut out the center to narrow it?

ZERO Hacking of the car was involved.

Only hacking that I will need to do will be of the original metal brace that holds the back part in place. Only reason for this is because I'm trying to retain the fold down that coupe sn95's have.

It takes the fabrication of some filler pieces.

As you can see on the bottom front thats a piece of wood that I cut to the exact shape of the floor I will cover it in matching carpet once I have it ready. It is held on by 3 steel elbows that I bent out of their 90* original shape to one of about 130* These are bolted on to both the body and wood. This pretty much takes car of the bottom. May require a 1" piece cut to shape on the sides but I haven't decided what I'm going to do about a minimal gap that is seen on the sides.

The backs need to be taken off from the original metal brace unless of course you'd rather make a filler for both left and right sides and not just the middle.

The filler I'm making consist of a 3"x1"xI think 15" covered wood then spaced enough out to where it sits flush with the seats.

I haven't gotten far enough into the hacking of the metal brace to adapt the fold down function.

Using coupe seats and not convertible ones makes it easier or at least it did for me.

If anyone is intersted I can make a write up and post the results.

The front seats are cake as everyone else here knows.

After this will be adapting the sn95 center console you can make out from the pics.

Oh and my front seats fit perfect and I'm about 6'. But I did lower the set floor.

Mine are from a 1985 1/2 SVO Mustang, there are before pitcures and after pictures.... I bought the Seats for $100.00 then bought the Smuilated Leather at Keystone Bro. in Houston for 10 yrd bought 10 yards, parents took the seats to Mexico and had the front and rear seats reupholstered for $130.00... What do you think??? Well sorry, could not get the pictures loaded, tried the lowest resolution on the camera, and also tried to saves as a bmp. still no luck...
