Fox Free Aluminium Roller Heads.

Nice score! I was going to say they look like my Trick Flows! And yes, I believe they will work well on your planned build. I am happy with mine! But good advice about taking them in and having them inspected - afterall, they were used AND free.....

Yes i agree 100% the ho block was free and the pistons for over 40 were free. Ill have it all checked out. Maybe the machine shop guy (names thad) would take a piglet per cylinder to bore it. I think he charges 30 a hole. Lol im a hog farmer BTW :0

If any of you are in the dallas or fort worth area my grandpa (David Gardner) owner of gardner paint and body or hot rod paint of texas is a master at body and paint work. Also builds drag cars. Worked on bruce allen and john forces cars back in the day. Look into him. Say you know his grandson see if he gives you a discount lol dont hold your breath though. He is really flexible on price.

I realize im very sporadic with my replys i have adhd. Anyways what all do you have to do to build a 308? Like parts and upgrades ect. Ive looked into it but havnt found a whole lot. Most i see are saying do a stroker or ls swap.. Im sorry but my fox will always have blue blood.

Good deal on the heads man, get it all checked out at the machine shop and then you're good to go on a 308 with those. I'm north of Dallas in Little Elm, are you in this area too?

Used to live in Tarrant county area but no im in kansas Nebraska area. Live 10 mins from nebraska boarder. I wish i could move back there but my wife would be home sick. Heard yall got some rain pretty good recently. Hope everyones cars and familys stayed dry x)

If i wanted to upgrade though whats a good size and brand cam to go with in a 308?

If you want to upgrade, you might consider putting a little more money into working those heads over. At the end, I think you'd make more power for the money than trying to swap for a larger version.

Great score BTW. I look forward to projects when the OP's current project looks squared away too. :)

Whats you mean ops project sauared away? Lol also have a chance to buy a running driving v8 1998 explorer for 150$ what would the average re sale value of like the rear end heads intake motor be out of that. Its not in bad condition. Just taking up space in this dudes yard and wants it gone now.

You should be able to part the motor out for at least 500$(heads-200$,intake-75-100$,shortblock-250$ or so)
