okay my tires are like 9 1/2"- 10" in width and 25-25 1/4" in height measuring from pavement to top of tire. and i my tach was reading 2,200-2,300 rpm at 40 miles an hour. so im thinking i have 4.10's?

In what gear? Also, is your speedo correct?

i was in 4th and my speedo is not working at all, the numbers on the tire are 245/45R17 i am thinking thats the dimensions not sure. i will be putting a used gear box in my trans and hopefully be getting my speedo working again. how ever i guess it would be helpful to know my gear ratio so that i can get it going at the correct speed.

so 4th gear, 40 mph @ 2,250 rpm

If your tachis correct and 2250 was the RPM @ 40MPH then you have 4.30 gears. So yeah, that car should get up and boogie off the line.

yeah it does, if i give it too much throttle on a cool road it spins right through first and then grabs hard in second. its a really fun car.
