Front and rear window moulding clip?

I am getting my windows put back in finally tomorrow actually. Very quick service called the Glass America today and they will have the Carlite window ordered and in their hands for an installation tomorrow. I looked at my shop manual for the body but it wasn't clear to me if I need to have the clips for the moulding installed before the windows go in or after? I am assuming that I can put them in afterwards, but if anybody knows for sure I would appreciate the guidance.

Your going to want to put them in first. It can be done after the glass is is but its not fun

I was hoping they would go in after....... I guess I need to search through my parts stash and find them and put them in tonight. If I recall the clips have a small foot on them does this go towards the car or towards the glass? the pages for this that I have are very hard to read and don't give much help.
