FRONT RUNNER TIRE QUESTION

I know this sounds ghetto..but hey....i dont wanna spring 300 for the front skinnies so i bought a extra aluminum spare and i was wondering if i can just mount 165/80/15 on them and use them at the track..i am currently running stok turbines in the rear with a 26x10.5 in the rear and wanna lighten the load in the front...(chrome ponys)...will that tire size work? im not sure what the with is? just know they are 15's
