I just installed my new GT500 Upper Strut Mounts today since my regular ones busted when I lowered my car. For some reason when I tried to re-install the stabilizer bar that connects the sway bar to the strut, I couldn't put it in the same hole as it was originally. I noticed that there are two holes (one on each side of the strut) the second one that was never used. I went ahead and put them in that second hole as they went in with no problem whatsoever. Is this bad? Is there a way to get them back in that original hole? They were a good inch to inch and a half too tall to fit.

Thanks.

you talking about this?

if there is pressure on the swaybar (car not level, one side jacked up and the other not, etc) then the links will not align with the strut. raise the entire front end and let the suspension hang freely. links should line right up with the struts.

Ahhh thats why. I had only one side jacked up at a time. I was wondering what was so different this time as compared to when I installed the springs. That would explain it. Thanks Bigcat!

Also, why are there two holes there anyhow?
