I am getting some draglite wheels, 15-8 rear and 15-5 front, on the rear I am going to run a 265/50-15, my question is what would be a good size for the front? I can't seem to figure out a good size for a 5 inch wide wheel, all I want is a tire that is about 25.5 or close to that since the rears are 25.7 I believe, just want something that will look good with the rears. Thanks

one thing though, make sure you match the speed ratings or you'll get wierd and potentially unsafe handling

15x5...You will need like a 175 or a 185. Usually 6 inch wheels will take a 195-205.

yea i wouldnt go with the 225 on a 5" wide rim. I used to run 225's on my 7" wide ponys and they had a somewhat bulging sidewall. I believe its a 185 my buddy runs on his 15x5's and they look good.

Yeah I don't want any tire bulge, at least not as much as a 225 on a 5 inch wheel, I want a fairly skinny front, I just don't feel safe running with the 3.5 wide wheels so I am going the 5 inch route, I know a lot of people who do run the 3.5's but they rarely street drive their cars, and mine is a daily driver so I want something bigger, just not as big as stock.

I've been looking around and I think I will get some 185/65/15's, they will be about half an inch shorter but that will be ok. Now the problem is going to be picking a brand. Any suggestions?

I think I may get a 275/50 instead of the 265/50 because the only 265 I can find is cooper cobra's and I dont trust those tires.

I am using 165sr15's. One set on 3 in Convo Pros and one set on 5 in Draglites.

They are hard to find lately.
